About the event
Target Audience: BC Physicians, nurses, health leaders, paramedics
Objectives:
Address rural health inequities by raising awareness of the importance of retrieval and transfer medicine.
Disseminate knowledge and promote discussion of ways to address gaps in prehospital and retrieval (transfer medicine) in British Columbia, particularly those living in rural and remote communities.
Enable interested physicians and other providers to network and learn from each other and from invited local and international speakers.
Highlight the role of interprofessional teams in PHRM.
